Real Dates, Real Stories, Real People
Quote of the Day
If you hate a person, you hate something in him that is part of yourself. What isn't part of ourselves doesn't disturb us.
~Hermann Hesse

a few years ago, after a long relationship had ended,i snuck back into the dating scene…this of course results in a friend playing matchmaker who introduces me to a barmaid friend of his..he tells me she has some “issues” but she’s really the way, she was extremely good looking.
so, my friend gives us his tickets for a nj devils hockey game that nite. cool. one catch was that i was already one hour of driving from nyc, where i lived at the time. so this date would require me to drive one hour east to the arena, one hour west back to her place(to drop her off at home) and then another hour back east to the city (hopefully with little traffic)…i’ll mention again, she was hot ┬áso, i went for the bait…
i picked her up from her apartment, which was a little bit “shady”…we were in the car literally about 5 minutes down the road and as i was talking to her i turned to look at her, and she was ASLEEP, knocked out, kinda loopy..
so, i kept driving to the arena, and she woke up when i stopped for fuel…i got her a red bull..and 2 for me…needless to say, we went to the game and i got in my 3 1/2 hours of driving…and i hate hockey.
no more dates followed.
